HOBART SHORE EXCURSION
Get the most out of your short stay in port with our Hobart shore excursion to kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Tours depart from Hobart’s waterfront, a short 10 minute walk from the Cruise Ship Terminal. Join us for a 2.5 hour return tour to the summit of Hobart’s iconic kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Above all, you’ll experience spectacular views over Hobart and southern Tasmania.
DEPARTURE LOCATION & TIMES
kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus departs from opposite the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre in Hobart. Most importantly, it’s a short 10 minute walk from the Cruise Ship Terminal.
Departs 7 days a week, including public holidays.
Departure Times:
9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3.30pm*.
*3.30pm summer departure (October – April). Timetable may vary on snow days.
SHORE EXCURSION OPTIONS
We offer multiple daily departures for our Hobart shore excursion to kunanyi/Mt Wellington. In short, our tours operate everyday regardless of which cruise ships are in port.
- Explorer Pass: Enjoy the 2.5 hour return tour including 30 minutes at the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington. In addition, you’ve got the option to hop-on and hop-off to explore short walks on the mountain. Bus pass valid all day.
- One – Way Pass: Take our shuttle to the summit of kunanyi/Mt Wellington. After that, you’ll make your own return journey to Hobart. It’s a rewarding 3 hour walk or a 1 hour bike ride back down the mountain with magnificent views.
- Mt Wellington + City Loop Combo: A combined ticket for two of Hobart’s most iconic sightseeing tours! Includes: kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Pass + 48 Hour Red Decker Hop-on Hop-off City Loop Ticket.
