The kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus fleet features 3 modern buses. Most importantly, they’ve all been carefully selected for passenger safety and comfort. They also have large windows so you can be sure you won’t miss a thing! Our bus fleet ensures we’re able to provide year-round access to kunanyi/Mt Wellington for everybody – all ages, all abilities and in all weather. Our drivers also share an informative and entertaining commentary onboard.

Developed specifically for a quiet, smooth and relaxing journey to kunanyi/Mt Wellington. This state-of-the-art vehicle features a spacious climate-controlled interior with large fog-free tinted windows – perfect for photo opportunities. There’s roll-on roll-off wheelchair access, free wi-fi and USB charging ports available onboard. It’s fitted with a Yakima bike rack at the rear and there’s luggage space to store your day pack. It also features AdBlue® emission reducing technology. In Winter, bus 203 is fitted with alpine tyres and snow chains as required.
