kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus

We’re COVID-Ready

kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus is COVID-Ready. We have developed and implemented a thorough COVID-Safe Business Plan to protect the health and safety of our staff and passengers.

Our team is briefed and trained on the new requirements regarding passenger safety and comfort, cleaning of busses, physical distancing and our new “stay at home” policy if they are feeling unwell.

Our buses are cleaned before, during and after touring. Our driver guides are all provided with several hospital grade disinfectant products, personal protective equipment and hand sanitiser for themselves and passengers. In addition, our buses undergo a regular deep clean.

We have put in place several COVID ready measures at the depot, our offices, and our Brooke Street Pier ticket sales booth.

All passengers are allocated the same seat during their tour and social distancing measures have been put in place.

If you are feeling unwell, please do not board the bus. Passengers are required to check-in on arrival using the Check In Tas app. We also highly recommend wearing of facemasks on our kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus service.

If you think you might have Coronavirus (COVID-19) because of recent travel or contact with a confirmed case, phone the Tasmanian Public Health Hotline (1800 671 738) for advice.
