So it is with great sadness, that we have decided to suspend the kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer bus service from Monday 23 March until further notice.

kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus is continuing to closely monitor the impacts and spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The health and safety of our passengers and staff will always be our top priority. We are following current best practice recommendations according to advice from the Australian Government Department of Health.

Our tours will continue to operate and we’ll carefully assess the situation and implement relevant changes as required. We wish to remind all passengers that everyone is welcome on board. However, in keeping with the Tasmanian Government’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) advice, please consider your need to travel if you are feeling unwell.

Commencement of our Winter timetable will be brought forward to Wednesday 1 April in order to maintain continuity of service and protect the health and safety of our employees.

If we are required to close, all pre-booked passengers will be offered a full refund without the normal 30% administration fee.
